New Hampshire Wedding Photographer | Stone Garden Yoga Studio {Melanie & Nick}
Posted on February 3, 2014
Melanie and Nick met while she was studying abroad in New Zealand. Gush! <3 Their wedding day was super special, as they found themselves surrounded by love from friends and family, some traveling from as far as London, England and New Zealand! Their beautiful winter wedding was held at the Stone Gardens Yoga Studio in Meredith, New Hampshire. It was a mild New England winter day, which was super exciting because we were able to stop by the picturesque town docks in Meredith for some photos before heading to the ceremony without having to brave too many elements. Another plus to the mild weather was that Melanie and Nick were able to hold their ceremony on the porch outside the studio while their {bundled up} guests surrounded them. Melanie wore some {wicked} awesome blue shoes with glitter on the toes, and she and her bridesmaids stayed toasty warm in their beautiful fur stoles. I had a lot of fun celebrating with Melanie and Nick. Thanks for having me, you two!

New Hampshire Photographer | Winter with a Puppy
Posted on January 25, 2014
January in New Hampshire. It’s chilly. It’s snowy. My husband and I aren’t skiiers, snowboarders, or skaters. Potentially sounds terrible. I mean, if you gave us a hill and a sled, we’d totally be sledders, and I know for certain that if challenged, I could be a pretty sweet snow-angel-maker. But we have a very rambunctious German Shorthaired Pointer puppy {Riley} on our hands, and she needs all the running, jumping, sniffing, and romping she can get. So we get out, even if I haven’t been challenged to a snow angel making contest. Sometimes we freeze. Sometimes we shiver. All the time we look forward to a mug {or two} of hot chocolate. Riley loves it. We love it {we love warmth a little better, but that’s on its way}. And winter in New Hampshire is a beautiful thing.
Stay warm! xo, Courtney
New Hampshire Senior Portrait Photographer | {Madyson}

Well, this senior portrait session left me rather speechless. Madyson had told me that I would love this farm before I arrived, but I had no idea that I would actually fall IN love with it. Even THAT is an understatement. This well kept secret is a serene place where Madyson keeps her horse, Teddy, all year long. There are acres and acres {and acres} of trails and fields and stone walls and… I could go on forever. It was so beautiful and I didn’t want to leave! The late autumn leaves made for a lovely backdrop, and we had so much fun roaming throughout the property, exploring the MANY locations for beautiful photos. After going home and viewing the images, I decided I need to take more portraits with horses. Because they rule. And in my humble opinion, so did this session. Thank you SO much for sharing your favorite place with me, Madyson. I can’t wait to come back!

New Hampshire Senior Portrait Photographer | {Moriah}

Moriah is the cutest, curly haired, most bubbly senior I’ve had the pleasure of working with. She is a book lover and a very talented writer, and asked to bring her typewriter along to our session! I was pumped! We had fun exploring the forest and chatting about her plans for after graduation. What an exciting time in life! I’m thrilled for you, Moriah! Thanks for a fun afternoon :)
Thanks for stopping by!

New Hampshire Engagement Photographer | UNH Campus {Pete & Melissa}
Posted on October 25, 2013
Melissa and Pete met as students while attending the University of New Hampshire. Their wedding is in August of 2014, and Melissa really wanted to have their engagement photos taken as well. This always gets me a little {a lot} giddy, because it is a perfect opportunity for couples to get a little more comfortable in front of the camera before their big day. We had so much fun walking around the beautiful UNH campus on a perfect autumn afternoon, getting to know each other and reminiscing about their days as college students and how they met. The fall is my absolute favorite time of year for taking photos, and this session was no different. The colorful autumn leaves made for a gorgeous backdrop, and the early evening light was the icing on the cake ;-) Thanks for a beautiful afternoon, Melissa and Pete! See you in August!
