Spring is here and everything is becoming new again! What better time for a first birthday than now? Lots of new things come with being one year old, and miss Ava seems to be taking advantage of them all. She practiced walking along the town docks in beautiful Meredith, NH – and pretty much owned it. There was also some [pretttty fast] crawling, and we checked out the fish on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee. We found some Adirondack chairs and took a break for bit. They were a little big for an itty bitty one-year-old, but Ava brought her own little chair too – one that’s been in her family for generations! All in all, it was a beautiful late-spring evening in the one and only, incredibly beautiful, Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Thanks for a fun time, and happy birthday, Ava!

Well. I just love this family. I’ve worked with them several years in a row {see our fun first session here}, and this year was the first time I got to meet the newest addition. How gorgeous are they?! Their momma is a beautiful soul who knows how to make beautiful babies. I love her to pieces and I’m honored that she chooses to have me photograph her quickly growing children. We played at Carter Hill Orchard on the most beautiful fall afternoon you could ask for. I hope you enjoy the images as much as I enjoyed taking them!

New Hampshire Family Photographer | {E & H Family}

I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful family on a wonderfully humid fall day in New Hampshire. After some of the family moved across the country, this was their first time visiting home since adding a new member to their family. I thought it was so cool that I was able to photograph the cousins during the visit where they met for the first time! We were pretty much in the peak of foliage season here in New Hampshire, and their property was just stunning with all the yummy fall colors! Just have a look – so beautiful! I loved their wardrobe too – their colors complimented the scenery in the best way possible. Nice work, fam ;-) Thanks for a fun afternoon!

New Hampshire Family Photographer | {O Family at Carter Hill Orchard // Round One}

This family rules! We met up for another fun session of family photos {check out our first session here} – this time we got to play in the apple orchard at Carter Hill! This is the apple orchard that I have wonderful childhood memories of – it is just so beautiful and kid-friendly. And they recently added apple cider donuts to their list of goodies, so that’s kind of a big deal. Anyway, it was crazy to see how quickly these two kiddos grew over the last year. And what is super awesome is that they are expecting a little brother in a few months! Woo! We enjoyed a splendid afternoon frolicking throughout the orchard, showing off our apples and kissing mommy’s belly. Little man will be here before we know it, and maybe we’ll even get to play at the apple orchard next year ;-)

New Hampshire Family Photographer | Hannah Dustin Memorial {Seamus & Friends}

Seamus was just days from turning the big O-N-E during our lovely photoshoot. It was a wonderful New Hampshire summer evening with absolutely perfect lighting. And I always love portrait sessions at the train tracks! Seamus’ mommy brought some vintage chairs that I drooled over, and I was thrilled to meet everyone! This photoshoot was one of my favorite family shoots to date! Happy almost-birthday, Seamus!
