Boston Wedding Photographer | Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center {Brian & Stacey}
Posted on January 29, 2018

On a toasty September day in Boston, a rather spectacular wedding took place, of which I was honored to be a part. Brian and Stacey, the sweetest couple of all time, began their day at the grand hotel that is the Royal Sonesta of Boston. If you’d like a visual, picture sweeping views of the Boston skyline and the Charles River right out the back door. Even better, just look at the visual evidence below.
When I arrived, Stacey donned a satin robe and Ugg slippers, rather indicative of the tone of the day – classy, yet relaxed. It was a pretty stress-free prep time, and I had quite a time snapping detail images, because they were some of the most lovely details I’ve ever seen (look at her DRESS). We also managed to fit in a (tear-jerking) father-daughter first look, as well as some wedding party photos beside the Charles River. Then it was go time.
We hopped in a (fancy) van and made our way around the corner to the Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center. Have you EVER BEEN THERE?! It’s incredible. Just look. For real. The ceremony was in the movie-scene-like courtyard, an intimate space surrounded by trees and gardens – and so quiet you would NEVER know you were in the middle of Boston.
The quaint surrounding streets of Cambridge made for a wonderful backdrop for Brian and Stacey’s photos. They also made great subjects, so my job was essentially handed to me. Thanks, guys!
Then we made our way back to the venue to begin the celebration. The newlyweds made their big reception entrance via the stairs descending from the balcony surrounding the upper half of the Multicultural Arts Center theater. As previously noted, this venue is grand, to say the least. For real, unreal. Ornate ceilings; Victorian details, all reminiscent of the day when this venue served as a fully operational theater. It was just the perfect backdrop for an evening of dancing and laughing and fun and also dessert.
In all, the day was quite honestly a photographer’s dream: two simply wonderful people and a stunning venue. Sifting through these images makes me smile and want to go back and do it all over again. Thanks for having me along, you two! Cheers <3
Thanks for stopping by!

NH Family Photographer | Ava Turns One!

Spring is here and everything is becoming new again! What better time for a first birthday than now? Lots of new things come with being one year old, and miss Ava seems to be taking advantage of them all. She practiced walking along the town docks in beautiful Meredith, NH – and pretty much owned it. There was also some [pretttty fast] crawling, and we checked out the fish on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee. We found some Adirondack chairs and took a break for bit. They were a little big for an itty bitty one-year-old, but Ava brought her own little chair too – one that’s been in her family for generations! All in all, it was a beautiful late-spring evening in the one and only, incredibly beautiful, Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Thanks for a fun time, and happy birthday, Ava!

Okie doke, folks. Here we have an adorable couple that wanted engagement photos taken in the wintry, snowy woods of New Hampshire, a request I couldn’t turn down. When they arrived in their adorable winter garb, with a plaid blanket to boot, my giddy level kicked up a notch. We had an awesome time exploring the trails at the Audubon Center in Concord, and almost literally didn’t stop laughing. It was definitely chilly, but that just made for even more snuggly pictures. Hopefully you enjoy gawking at this couple of excessively adorable proportions.
Thanks for coming by! xo, Courtney

Kathleen and Drew are an adorable couple that I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with, exploring their little city on foot, accompanied by their pride and joy, Gilly! We roamed the local park, walked the streets of their neighborhood, and even visited their favorite diner! Then we headed back to their awesome apartment for some comfy in home shots {always my favorite}. I’m so looking forward to shooting their wedding in July!
Thanks for takin’ a look!

Well. I just love this family. I’ve worked with them several years in a row {see our fun first session here}, and this year was the first time I got to meet the newest addition. How gorgeous are they?! Their momma is a beautiful soul who knows how to make beautiful babies. I love her to pieces and I’m honored that she chooses to have me photograph her quickly growing children. We played at Carter Hill Orchard on the most beautiful fall afternoon you could ask for. I hope you enjoy the images as much as I enjoyed taking them!
ps. you can check out our session from the apple orchard {Round One} last year here!
Thanks for stopping by!
